Okay let’s put this nice and simple for you! This is the brand new album from producer 9th Wonder, best known for his work with the extremely under-rated Little Brother. Phonte from Little Brother features on a few tracks although Rapper Big Pooh features on none, which is a little sad I think considering the trio done good things. Anyway there’s of lots of other things to talk on, like the fact that Skyzoo & Fashawn destroy the ‘Hearing The Melody’ joint and obviously the Raekwon The Chef track with Big Remo; ‘No Pretending’ is fire. Other notable contributions come from Warren G, Murs, Masta Killa, Erykah badu and Kendrick Lamar. Tough album, good guests and above all good songs, it’s true we are living in the ‘The Wonder Years’.

Twenty-nine tracks deep, this is the 101st mix in the series and what a corker it is too! Really feeling how he gives all the freshest cuts and tracks, as well as unreleased material. There’s some killer Hip-Hop cuts from the likes of Lloyd Banks. Jeezy, Jim Jones, T.I and Slaughterhouse, although it was Consequence’s collaboration with UK singer Estelle entitled ‘Which Way’ that made my head nod, as well as Beanie Sigel’s ‘Still Got It’ joint and the Jadakiss & Fat Joe track ‘Dopeman’. This is a solid mixtape and something you need to grab now.

‘Welcome to Strangeland’ is the latest release from Tech N9ne and what a corker it is to. This is in fact now Tech’s 13th album and the the fourth album release in the “Collabos” series. This dropped on Monday which was Tech N9ne’s 40th birthday and already is getting superb feedback with a string of underground names really killing it. “Won’t You Come Dirty” featuring Stevie Stone & Young Bleed and produced by Jomeezius The Genius is probably my favourite track, but make sure you “Sad Circus” featuring Brotha Lynch Hung & Courtney Kuhnz and “Kocky” featuring Jay Rock & Kutt Calhoun. Big album and the deluxe version actually has three bonus tracks!
