Big Dutty Deeze is living proof that hard works pays off. After grinding hard on the underground releasing around ten projects, he has been picked up by US record label Knowledge Giving Birth for his debut album. With production from label boss Rediculus, this is an album that can be listened to from start to finish and to be honest apart from the ‘Life Is Good’ album by NaS, that’s the first time I have done that for a while!

‘The English Gentlemen’ is an album that showcases Big Dutty Deeze in a true and almost new light. He goes hard on his mixtapes, but I guess that’s what mixtapes are for. His last release ‘Words From Diary’ showed that he could spit more personal and then this debut album proves that he can write sings and pick original concepts, as well as delivering them with uniqueness.

His collobo’ with Ruste Juxx and Chi-Town rapper Prome really bangs with a killer hook and cuts such as ‘Daydream’ and ‘Fire’ impressed too. The beats are hot; the rhymes are clever and intelligent but raw. This is Hip-Hop that will make any true fan feel good, this album is so much more than just beats and bars.

‘The English Gentleman’ is out now on iTunes UK and USA via Knowledge Giving Records and is digitally distributed by Island/Def Jam. Please support and purchase from the links below:
